Well...my train ride was amazing.  I never thought that there would be a better feeling than that of driving great distances...and then I rode the train.  :)

If I had a nickel for every strange look I got from people watching haul my piano around...well...I'd be swimming in nickels a la Scrooge McDuck.

My brother just called me to share some great news.  The Dean of Admissions at UC Hastings School of Law just called him to tell him he's been accepted.  He's so stoked...he started crying as he shared the news.  A lot of his top choices wait listed him and he's just been a bundle of nerves the last 4 months.  UC Hastings was in his top 3.  Now, he ( Read more... )

I'm driving to Vegas today.  Gonna go check out a few venues that I can play at once I start gigging.

It's been stressful.  Ever since people found out I was going alone, they've been giving me a hard time...trying to weasel their way into my car just so I can have some "company".
